Assessing Water Damage Through Moisture Maps
A moisture map illustrates the affected areas of the structure on a room-by-room basis, depicting the water damage and saturation from the beginning of the loss and the daily drying process.
Purpose of the moisture map:
- Documents the drying of the structural materials
- Diagrams placement of the drying equipment
- Establishes that the structure is dry and returned to a pre-loss condition.
